HELLO CLEVELAND unites two very highly regarded members of the Sydney music scene, Steve Corey and Doug Weaver.
Prior to HELLO CLEVELAND, Steve had spent five years fronting popular cover band Pyjama Party, and prior to that was one half of the Brothers Grimm. He was also the singer with recording bands Trick Cyclists and Mustard Mitt back in the twentieth century.
Doug has featured as lead guitarist with Pyjama Party, Family Von Trapp, Wild Armadillos and Radio Bandits. He is also in high demand as a session musician, and plays and tours with a number of high-profile acts.
HELLO CLEVELAND plan to make every night different to keep things fresh…for themselves as well as their audience. The attached songlist is merely a representation of some of the songs they have taught the ‘drummer’ recently, but the songlist in their heads is massive.
Having a combined experience of over half a century as professional musicians, HELLO CLEVELAND have probably forgotten more songs than most musicians know. A major element of their gigs is playing audience requests on demand, with a focus on acoustic performance. Of course if the crowd want to dance, they can keep the floor packed all night as well.
